The Youth Cancer Trust aims to adhere to the six data protection principles contained in the GDPR:

All information collected by the Youth Cancer Trust on its beneficiaries, third party companies and supporters is kept in accordance with the charity policies, including:

  • Safeguarding personal data online policy
  • Confidentiality policy
  • Computer policy

All personal information is retained only if required for the charity to provide its services effectively and in accordance with the person’s wishes and only if they have opted in.

Email marketing is sent via Mailchimp and receivers have the option to unsubscribe at any point.
