Childhood Cancer Awareness Month | Youth Cancer Trust

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

As a charity that supports young people aged 14-30 who are living with and beyond cancer, we are committed to raising awareness of childhood cancer during this month.

Many of our guests were diagnosed with cancer in their childhood or early teens, and they often live with the ongoing physical and emotional consequences of their diagnosis and treatment. At Youth Cancer Trust, we offer them the opportunity to come on a holiday where they can make connections and friendships with others who understand what they are going through. These friendships can provide a lifeline of ongoing support for years to come.

No matter when you were diagnosed with cancer, we know that the experience can be isolating and difficult. This September, we are asking our guests to share their cancer stories, or even just a small snippet of how cancer has impacted their lives. We hope that by sharing their stories, they can help others who are feeling alone.

If you are aged 14-30 and have been affected by childhood cancer, or if you know someone who has, please visit our website to learn more about our services. You can also complete our enquiry form to get in touch with us.
