At the heart of Youth Cancer Trust is our value of ‘empowerment’ — we strive to equip young people with the strength, confidence, and support they need to overcome challenges, build lasting friendships, and embrace life with hope and resilience.
Our mission statement:
- To help reduce isolation amongst young cancer patients
- To help improve confidence amongst young cancer patients
- To help improve wellbeing amongst young cancer patients
- To provide a sense of normality
- To encourage healthy / outdoor activities
Meet people like you! Youth Cancer Trust provides online support and free therapeutic wellbeing holidays for young people (aged 14 to 30) living with and beyond cancer, from anywhere in the UK and the Irish Republic, or who are patients of any UK hospital.
If you would like to book a holiday, please complete our enquiry form.
Please don’t feel alone – Youth Cancer Trust is running a secure online group for young cancer patients and those with late effects from having had cancer as a young person. If you would like to join the group, please complete our online form or email us.
The online group offers support, fun activities such as cookery and quizzes, peers who understand, and activities to help promote wellbeing, such as Yoga and meditation.
Holiday groups are made up of similar ages and groups can also be made up of friends you made in hospital.
We are open for all the school holidays and are now based at Manor Farm Barn and adjacent cottage Churn House. Both are located on the private land of a working farm with good access for those with mobility challenges. Between the 2 buildings is a courtyard patio area with a heated swimming pool and a large games room.
If you have any queries about our services, please email us.
