Staff members Jo, Laura and Wendy attended ‘Make a Move’ at Bath University. The event is in support of The Grand Appeal for Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity. It provides an opportunity for children with cancer, or a blood condition to come together, try out a range of sports, have lots of fun and show there is no limit to what they can achieve.
Staff enjoyed the chance to meet young people and tell them about Youth Cancer Trust, and to meet lots of other great charities supporting young people with cancer.
We were also excited to participate in a dance warm up to the day, meet Paralympic swimmer Stephanie Millward MBE, hold the Olympic torch, have a go at wheelchair basketball and pose for selfies by the Grand Appeal hot air balloon.
