Jo and Laura had the privilege and honour of being invited to a cheque presentation from Jason Bennett and his family at Sheffield Wednesday football ground. Jason, with the support from his friends, family and local community have raised an incredible £30,131 for us. His aim is to continue the legacy of his beautiful children John and Lacey. We thank Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme for supporting Jason with his fundraising events and Lloyds bank for match funding.
We were able to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Jason for all of his endeavours, by awarding him the Fundraiser of the Year trophy and officially welcoming him as a Youth Cancer Trust Ambassador.
